Montella’s Fiorentina Will Turn Optimistic Circumstances
Sevilla – Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella, disappointed to see the team besutannya smothering three goals without reply by Sevilla. However, Montella believes his side can still turn things around.
Fiorentina lost 0-3 in the Europa League semi-final first leg held at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, Friday (8/5) pm dawn. Montella who make more disappointed was the fact his team played offensive and had plenty of chances to score.
“To be honest, I can say that my team was fantastic in the first half and at least deserve a goal,” Montella said on Football Italia.
Fiorentina have 11 attempts to score a goal throughout the match, but only 3 of them are right on target. Poor final settlement was also admitted by Montella.
“We’ve got four chances clean, while Sevilla scored on their first trial. After the break, they scored again and mentally we fall.”
Now, Fiorentina had a tough task to win at least 4-0 in the second leg, which will be held at the Artemio Franchi on May 14, 2015. Seeing his team can play aggressive, confident Montella could reverse the situation.
“Even if defeated, our games are balanced with Sevilla. That is, we still have a chance to fight until the end of next Thursday.”
“I am confident we can turn things around, and it’s possible. If they can score three goals, why can not we?”
